Job summary

TrueBlue, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager who will travel to multiple job sites across Jackson, TN, providing on-site support and training for service teams. You will approve payroll and assist site forecasting and budgets, serving as backup for managers during absences.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, process optimization, and strong communication, with responsibilities including staff development, performance coaching, and ensuring operational continuity across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 4+ years of process management experience.
• 1+ years supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience in training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to solve complex problems, including finance.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly to supported sites, dedicating at least one week per month on-site.
• Support and collaborate with diverse sites under supervisor guidance.
• Provide training and mentorship for new managers.
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Serve as payroll approver for designated sites and ensure compliance.
• Act as backup for hiring manager during travel or absences.
• Provide payroll backup coverage for the hiring manager’s team.
