Job summary

Northeast Power Dry is seeking an Operations Field Manager to lead mitigation operations and build high-performing teams in New Jersey. The role focuses on supervising technicians, ensuring safety standards, and delivering exceptional customer service during challenging times.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on construction experience, strong leadership, and a passion for operational excellence in restoration and reconstruction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2–5 years of management experience in construction, restoration, or a related industry.
• Hands-on construction experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the mitigation team to achieve operational excellence and exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Oversee mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and on-time completion.
• Conduct on-site inspections and provide hands-on leadership when needed.
• Direct crews in the field and ensure proper construction and mitigation methods are followed.
• Develop and improve operational workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues quickly, and ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
• Hire, onboard, train, and mentor new team members.
• Conduct ongoing performance evaluations and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other department leaders to coordinate staffing, equipment, and project resources.
• Oversee inventory management and ensure equipment is properly maintained and available.
