Job summary

Farmers Group Inc. seeks a Head of Field Operations - East to lead the territory with P&L accountability and a matrix relationship to the home office. This role oversees daily operational and administrative needs, key reports, implementation plans, and coaching for agencies.

The position emphasizes driving adoption of tools, managing budgets, and coordinating with field integration and agency development teams to achieve strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of insurance business and business operations (product, claims, distribution management, regulatory affairs).
• Ability to develop strategic plans and lead cross‑functional teams to ensure viability of EA channel.
• Ability to collaborate, influence and lead to success.
• Strong problem‑solving, creative and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Act as deputy for the Regional President on the Profitable Growth Team and support general management in the territory.
• Serve as primary liaison between field integration and the territory office.
• Oversee territory implementation of national programs and segmentation efforts.
• Ensure operational leadership with territory reporting, financial analysis and calendar management.
• Manage territory budget and drive deployment, agency development and BI engagement.
• Monitor loss ratio trajectories and coordinate with product partners on rate actions.
• Coordinate virtual coaching with inside sales consultants and align with sales directors on segmentation.
