Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations, coordinate with management, and enforce safety protocols on job sites. The role includes training, mentoring, and ensuring timely completion of tasks with quality and safety standards.

The candidate should have a CDL, strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, plus the ability to adapt to field conditions and coordinate with property owners. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols for lines, voltages, equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.
• Strong organization skills and ability to multitask.
• Able to adapt to field requirements and act independently without close supervision.
• Ability to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Ability to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Weight not to exceed ~300 pounds due to equipment limits.
• No fear of heights; able to travel for storm work.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders are received.
• Conducts field training/retraining and instructs crew on new job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA requirements.
• Discusses job access, interruptions, and property issues with owners/customers.
• Obtains permissions from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains good customer relations through professional conduct and results.
