Job summary

Block by Block in Memphis is seeking a Team Leader to guide frontline Ambassadors, manage shift duties, and ensure safety and service standards. You will report daily progress and support field operations while delivering excellent customer experiences in public spaces.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, supervisory experience, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. Practical maintenance or project background is a plus, with open availability and on-site work.

Qualifications

• Must have frontline customer service and hospitality experience.
• Experience in supervising or leading a team is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required for the role.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Familiarity with basic reporting and daily briefings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift duties for Ambassadors and ensure policy adherence.
• Communicate daily briefings, assign duties and monitor weather/safety updates.
• Provide excellent customer service to the BID and team.
• Prepare basic written reports on infrastructure, graffiti, and outcomes.
• Maintain professional appearance and environment on-site.
