Job summary

Impact Workforce Solutions seeks a Field Operations Manager to launch and stabilize on-site workforce operations across the United States. The role is hands-on and highly travel-based, requiring quick assessments, relationship building, and ownership of client sites.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in workforce operations, strong recruiting and coaching skills, and the ability to lead multi-site implementations. Travel: 80–90%; location: remote/onsite with Georgia-based residence preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in workforce operations, staffing, recruiting, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage an on-site workforce operation.
• Strong hands-on recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management experience.
• Experience launching new accounts/sites; preferred for new implementations.
• Strong client relationship, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new on-site implementations from initial setup through stabilization.
• Step in as an interim on-site leader during launches, vacancies, transitions, or other business needs.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train employees to meet client workforce needs.
• Train, coach, and develop Workforce Operations Managers and on-site teams.
• Manage employee engagement, attendance, performance, corrective actions, investigations, and terminations.
• Monitor staffing levels and address recruiting, attendance, turnover, and workforce gaps.
• Support timekeeping, payroll, billing, reporting, and workforce management processes.
• Build strong relationships with client HR, managers, and operational leadership.
• Evaluate site performance, identify gaps, and implement solutions.
• Help resolve employee, client, and operational issues and escalations.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, operational standards, and client requirements are followed.
• Communicate site performance, risks, challenges, and action plans to IWS leadership.
