Job summary

Impact Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced IWS Field Operations Manager to drive launch, training, and ongoing success of on-site operations nationwide. This role is hands-on, travel-intensive, and requires ownership of implementations, team development, and day-to-day execution.

The ideal candidate has strong recruiting, onboarding, payroll support, and client leadership experience, with the ability to manage multiple sites and build solid client relations while traveling up to 80–90%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in workforce operations, recruiting, employee management, client relations, or multi-site operations preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage all aspects of a on-site operation.
• Strong hands-on recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and employee management experience.
• Experience training, coaching, and developing managers and operational teams.
• Experience with new location, account, or program implementations strongly preferred.
• Strong client-relationship building, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation and launch of new on-site operations from initial setup through stabilization.
• Review established processes, workflows, SOPs, reporting, and operational standards for new locations.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, orient, and train employees to meet client workforce needs.
• Assist with training, coaching, and mentoring Workforce Operations Managers and on-site team members.
• Provide hands-on training on operating systems/platforms, employee relations, client management, reporting, and operational processes.
• Step in as the interimon-site leader during vacancies, leaves, transitions, or other business needs.

IWS Field Operations Manager

Position Overview

Impact Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced IWS Field Operations Manager to support the launch, training, and ongoing success of ouron-siteoperations across the country.

This is a hands-on, highly travel-based positionfor an experienced operations leader who can step into anyclient’slocation and quickly take ownership. The IWS Field Operations Manager will lead newon-siteimplementations, train and developon-siteteams, provide operational coverage when needed, and help improve the performance of existing locations.

The ideal candidatecando the work, teach the work, and lead the work.You must be comfortable recruiting,onboardingand training employees, managing employee relations, supporting payroll and timekeeping, working directly with client leadership, and overseeing all aspects of day-to-dayon-siteoperations.

This position requires 80–90% travel, including frequent overnight and extended travel. The position is remote when not traveling.

Key Responsibilities

• Assistwithimplementation and launch of newon-siteoperations frominitialsetup through stabilization.
• Review establishedprocesses, workflows, SOPs, reporting, and operational standards for new locations.
• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, orient, and train employees to meet client workforce needs.

• Build strong relationships with client HR, managers, and operational leadership.
• Evaluate existing operations,identifyperformanceor process gaps, and implement solutions.
• Support locations during periods of high growth, peak demand, leadership transitions, or operational challenges.
• Ensure company policies, processes, and operational standards are consistently followed.
• Communicate site performance, challenges, risks, and action plans to the Vice President of Operations.

• Working knowledge of HRIS, ATS, timekeeping, payroll, and workforce management systemsis preferred.
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Travel Requirements

This position requires 80–90% travel throughout the United States. Candidates must be comfortable with frequent overnight travel, extended assignments, and supporting different shifts based on business needs.

The successful candidate will be highly adaptable, comfortable working independently, and willing to roll up their sleeves and provide hands‑on support wherever the business needs them most.
