Job summary

The Field Operations - Project Manager at The Roar oversees field operations for residential, mixed-use, and commercial land development projects from preconstruction through project completion. Coordination with preconstruction meetings, lot walks, geotechnical and inspections ensures readiness and compliance.

Monitors site conditions during construction, coordinating field inspections, and guiding stakeholders to resolve issues, safeguard schedules and budgets, and maintain quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Construction, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing land development for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction plans and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Review contract documents and ensure full understanding of project scope.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and company standards.
• Track and forecast labor, equipment, and material costs.
• Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices.
• Manage change orders (pricing, negotiation, documentation).
• Monitor production, schedule adherence, and quality control.
• Coordinate field inspections and facilitate resolution of deficiencies.
• Support field teams with project coordination and problem-solving.
• Ensure materials and equipment are delivered per project schedule.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and maintain documentation for claims avoidance.
