Job summary

Confidential Recruiting Partners is seeking a Field Operations Project Manager to oversee residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments from preconstruction through completion. The role requires regular field presence, coordinating field operations, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

In this onsite position based in Brambleton, VA, you will manage schedules, budgets, change orders, and contractor performance while collaborating with contractors, consultants, and utility

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing land development projects.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and change orders.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Experience working with contractors, consultants, utility providers, and project stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of site development, utility construction, grading, infrastructure, and construction sequencing.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve contractor and vendor invoices.
• Coordinate inspections and facilitate timely resolution of deficiencies.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Review project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and resource allocations.
• Manage project documentation, change orders, and contractor performance.
• Manage land development projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Maintain accurate project records and provide regular progress updates to leadership.
• Collaborate with builders, consultants, surveyors, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure work complies with approved plans and specifications.
• Monitor jobsite safety and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
• Manage punch-list activities, final inspections, project closeout documentation, and bond release processes.
• Coordinate field activities including site inspections, utility installations, grading operations, and infrastructure improvements.
