Job summary

Franklin Energy is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead field crews installing energy efficient equipment. You will create onboarding for new hires, manage scheduling, and ensure crews have tools and products to complete installs across sites.

Responsibilities include inspections, troubleshooting, and collaboration with other supervisors to improve operations, plus overseeing timesheets and expense reports. Travel up to 80% is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred; experience in installing technologies valued.
• Minimum 3 years in electric or natural gas utility, facilities, HVAC, lighting, or energy management.
• Weatherization knowledge a plus; knowledge of construction tools preferred.
• Experience in customer service, sales, and field work preferred.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field personnel who install energy efficient equipment and products.
• Create onboarding training for new hires and manage scheduling operations.
• Control inventory and ensure crews have tools and products to complete installs.
• Conduct inspections to monitor performance and quality.
• Assist with troubleshooting, customer issues, and logistics.
• Approve installation summaries, timesheets, and expenses.
• Support performance reviews and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Collaborate with other Field Supervisors and Field Managers to improve operations.
• Perform combustion safety testing, air sealing, and direct installation as needed.
• Conduct site assessments and inventory reports; maintain warehouse and fleet areas.
