Job summary

Consigli Construction's Field Operations internship offers hands-on experience supporting superintendents and project managers in safety, scheduling, and field coordination at project sites in White Plains, NY.

As a current undergraduate in Construction Management or Engineering, you will develop skills in CPM concepts, daily reporting, quality inspections, and collaboration with subcontractors and team members in a fast-paced, in-person setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction site safety standards, practices, and protocols.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with aptitude for learning CM software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
• Strong organizational skills for documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with CPM concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safety program administration to maintain a safe site.
• Interpret contract drawings, submittals, and project docs.
• Support daily/weekly activities with reports, safety walks, quantities, schedules.
• Develop understanding of overall project schedule and critical path.
• Contribute to short-term planning to meet milestones.
• Participate in QA: site inspections and material verifications.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to meet timelines and safety needs.
• Maintain daily logs, RFIs, submittal tracking for communication.
• Monitor onsite deliveries and inventory to sustain progress.
• Attend project team meetings and share updates and solutions.
• Observe site conditions impacting schedule, cost, or safety.
• Use CM software/tools to track and update project information.
