Job summary

Consigli Construction is seeking a Field Operations Intern to gain hands-on exposure in field coordination, safety programs, schedule analysis, and project documentation within a busy construction site.

You will assist Superintendents and Project Managers, learn CPM concepts, review drawings, track quantities, participate in safety walks, and help maintain daily logs and submittals. This internship is in-person in New York and offers practical career growth.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction safety standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration of the project safety program to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
• Provide technical assistance by interpreting contract drawings, submittals, and project documentation.
• Assist the assistant superintendent, superintendent, and project manager with daily and weekly activities, including preparing daily reports, safety walks, and updating project schedules.
• Develop an understanding of the overall project schedule, including critical path analysis.
• Review and contribute to short-term planning to meet milestones.
• Participate in QA by attending meetings, inspecting sites, and verifying materials for compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to support timelines and safety requirements.
• Maintain project documentation such as daily logs, RFIs, and submittal tracking.
• Monitor onsite material deliveries and inventory to progress.
