Consigli Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Field Operations Intern in New York to support safety program administration, quantity tracking, schedule analysis, and site documentation.

This in-person, full-time internship provides hands-on exposure to field coordination and construction quality within a dynamic environment. The role collaborates with Superintendents and Project Managers, requiring ongoing studies in Construction Management or Engineering and an eagerness to learn CPM concepts

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (Civil preferred).
• Basic knowledge of construction site safety standards, practices, and protocols.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with aptitude for learning CM software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, submittals, and technical documents.
• Strong organizational skills for documentation and reporting.
• Basic understanding of CPM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support safety program administration and ensure a safe, compliant work environment.
• Interpret contract drawings, submittals, and project documentation; provide technical assistance.
• Assist with daily/weekly activities, including reports, safety walks, quantities, and schedules.
• Develop understanding of the overall project schedule, including critical path.
• Contribute to short-term planning to meet project milestones.
• Participate in QA and site inspections for material compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to support timelines and safety.
• Maintain daily logs, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Monitor on-site material deliveries and inventory for progress.
• Attend project team meetings and communicate updates and challenges.
• Observe conditions that could affect schedule or safety.
• Utilize CM software to track and update project information.
