Job summary

Consigli Construction seeks a Field Operations Intern to assist Superintendents and PMs with safety program administration, quantity tracking, schedule analysis, and site documentation.

You will gain hands-on experience in field coordination, schedule management, and QC within a dynamic construction environment. Eligible candidates are pursuing a degree in construction management or engineering and are proficient in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction site safety standards and protocols.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
• Strong organizational skills for documentation and reporting.
• Basic understanding of CPM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support safety program administration to ensure a safe and compliant site.
• Assist with interpreting contract drawings, submittals, and project docs.
• Help daily/weekly activities: reports, safety walks, quantity tracking, schedules.
• Develop understanding of the overall project schedule and critical path analysis.
• Contribute to short-term planning to meet milestones.
• Participate in QA with site inspections and material verification.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to support timelines and safety.
• Maintain daily logs, RFIs, and submittal tracking for communications.
• Monitor on-site material deliveries and inventory.
• Join project team meetings to share updates and solutions.
• Observe site conditions that impact schedule, cost, or safety.
• Use construction management software to track project information.
