Job summary

Consigli Construction Co. is seeking a Field Operations Intern to support safety, scheduling, and field coordination on active projects.

This in-person role provides hands-on experience under Superintendents and Project Managers, with exposure to CPM scheduling, daily reports, and site inspections. The internship requires pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, with strong organization and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in CM/Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of construction site safety standards.
• MS Office proficiency with aptitude for CM software.
• Ability to read construction drawings and technical documents.
• Strong organizational skills for reporting and documentation.
• Understanding of CPM concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the safety program administration to ensure a safe, compliant worksite.
• Interpret contract drawings, submittals, and project documentation.
• Assist supervisors and project managers with daily/weekly tasks, reports, safety walks, quantities, and schedules.
• Develop understanding of the overall project schedule, including critical path.
• Review short-term planning to meet milestones.
• Participate in QA through site inspections and material verification.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to meet timelines and safety requirements.
• Maintain project docs: daily logs, RFIs, submittals.
• Monitor on-site deliveries and inventory for progress.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate updates and challenges.
• Observe/report site conditions affecting schedule, cost, or safety.
• Use CM software to track and update project information.
