Job summary

UES, Inc. seeks a Dispatcher to coordinate daily job assignments and optimize scheduling for Field Engineering Technicians and lab logistics in Florida. The role serves as the main contact for client requests, using dispatching software to align project needs with technician availability and location.

You will ensure proper documentation, manage equipment check-outs and safety procedures, and support the Productivity Project Manager as needed. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years of related training/experience preferred in an AEC environment.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks, emails, and learning Field Data Collection software.
• Strong communication, organization, and scheduling abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with client representatives via phone and email for job assignments.
• Document conversations with clients and prepare work orders.
• Coordinate job assignments based on Field Technicians locations to maximize production and minimize travel time.
• Manage scheduling, deployment, and time off for all Field Technicians.
• Organize laboratory sample retrieval and notify the Laboratory Supervisor of pending rushes.
• Maintain log of Nuclear equipment check-in/out and distribute dosimeter badges to Technicians.
• Assist Productivity Project Manager with paperwork and specialist tasks as needed.
• Obtain and organize all purchase orders prior to scheduling Technicians.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
