Job summary

AbbVie Oncology is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Educator to engage with allied healthcare professionals, delivering product and disease education and supporting patient management on approved therapies. This field-based role requires travel and collaboration across oncology teams to drive education initiatives and clinical outcomes.

The candidate will design educational plans, educate on dosing and administration, and support staff with clinical programs, while maintaining strong

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Current active HCP license.
7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent hematology preferred.
Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice.
Excellent communication, objective setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical and strong presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills; travel 50% of the time; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Educate allied healthcare professionals on product and disease education.
Develop a customized education plan through account dynamics and clinical insights.
Educate on dosing, administration, and adverse event management of approved therapies.
Provide 1:1 presentations/in-services and other approved methods.
Collaborate across sales, marketing, clinical operations and medical teams.
Document interactions and manage allocated resources; travel as required.
