Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Oncology Nurse Educator to proactively engage with allied health professionals, providing product and disease education to support patient management before, during, and after therapy. This field-based role requires travel and you will work to build clinical education programs across oncology teams.

The candidate will need a nursing-related degree with active licensure and extensive oncology experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Current active HCP license.
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience, with recent hematology focus.
• Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide product and disease education to allied health care professionals.
• Educate on patient identification and use of approved therapies.
• Educate on dosing, administration, and adverse event management.
• Deliver education programs via 1:1 sessions and group formats.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and medical teams to support education initiatives.
