Job summary

AbbVie Oncology is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Educator to proactively engage with allied healthcare professionals, providing product and disease education to support patient management before, during, and after therapy. This field-based role requires travel and a strong education focus.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in clinical oncology/hematology with recent hematology exposure, excellent communication and teaching skills, and the ability to operate across cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required.
• Current active HCP license.
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent hematology experience preferred.
• Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice.
• Excellent communication, objective setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical and strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide product and disease education to allied healthcare professionals.
• Develop a customized educational plan through analysis of account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Educate on dosing, administration and adverse event management for approved therapies.
• Deliver education through 1:1 presentations/in-services and group sessions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical, evidence).
• Document customer interactions and manage allocated resources.
