Job summary

AbbVie Oncology is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Educator to lead educational initiatives for healthcare professionals and care teams across hematologic and solid tumor malignancies. The role emphasizes disease and product education, dosing, adverse event management, and clinical updates.

You will travel ~50% and work with cross-functional teams to enhance training and clinical competencies while supporting patient management programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD is required.
Current active HCP license is required.
7+ years of clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent Hematology experience preferred (e.g., multiple myeloma).
Excellent communication, objective setting, influencing, business acumen, analytical and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic education leader across oncology accounts with education resources for healthcare professionals and patient care teams.
Develop customized educational plans from account dynamics and clinical insights.
Educate clinicians on patient identification and role of therapies for hematologic and solid tumors.
Educate on product preparation, administration, and adverse event management.
Provide education programs via 1:1 sessions, in-services, round-table discussions, and podium presentations.
Document customer interactions and educational activities; manage resources.
