Job summary

Environmental Management, Inc. seeks an Onboarding & Training Specialist to coordinate new-hire onboarding and lead safety-oriented orientation sessions. The role ensures proper PPE usage, equipment operation basics, and a consistent, compliant onboarding experience.

The candidate will work with HR, Safety, and Operations to deliver engaging training, track completion, and provide bilingual support when needed. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum two years in onboarding, employee training, HR, landscaping, or field-based industry.
• Experience delivering safety or hands-on equipment training is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of onboarding documentation, Form I-9 requirements, and confidential records.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new hire orientations with recruiters and HR to ensure timely onboarding.
• Lead safety and hands-on training as part of the new-hire orientation program.
• Document training and manage onboarding records and attestations.
• Provide bilingual onboarding and training support when needed.
• Work with managers to confirm assignments, locations, supervisors, and equipment needs.
