Job summary

Instrata is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the Training Director in coordinating and executing daily safety requirements across area project sites.

The role involves providing safety orientation to new hires, maintaining training records, performing audits, and assisting in EH&S policy development. Strong MS Office skills and clear communication are essential, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Minimum of two years of field experience in structured cabling is a plus.
• CHST certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of industrial safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to create documentation and safety logs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, Smartsheets.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safety orientation for new hires.
• Maintain records of new hire safety training.
• Perform safety audits and inspections as directed by Training Director or customer reps.
• Coordinate and conduct audits, inspections, and training sessions.
• Assist in development and review of EH&S policies and procedures.
• Coordinate injury and illness investigations and OSHA reporting.
• Communicate with management to identify trends in claims and mitigation actions.
• Coordinate safety inspections with customer and outside agency representatives.
