Overview
We are seeking an experienced EHS Orientation Trainer to deliver engaging, safety-focused onboarding programs that prepare new hires for success from day one. This role is critical in promoting a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across our organization.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation training sessions (classroom and hands-on).
- Develop and update training materials, manuals, and presentations to align with OSHA standards and company policies.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with department leaders and training coordinators to tailor programs to specific roles.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with OSHA and internal requirements.
Must-Have Qualifications
- OSHA 30 Authorized Trainer (Construction) certification (required)
- 3–5 years of classroom training delivery experience
- 3–5 years of training content development experience
- 1–2 years of hands-on training experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to different learning styles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced Trainer in one or more of the following areas: Fall Protection; Confined Space; Forklift / Rough Terrain; CPR / First Aid / AED; Fire Extinguisher Safety; Electrical Safety (NFPA 70E)
