Job summary

Gallagher Bassett, a leading workers' compensation claims provider, seeks a Medical Case Manager to coordinate care for injured employees in the Philadelphia area. You will conduct telephonic and on-site assessments, collaborate with physicians and employers, and manage a caseload to support return-to-work goals.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with 3+ years in acute care, and prefer workers' compensation experience and professional certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• Active RN license in state or CM practice states.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical evaluation and treatment for injured workers.
• Meet with physicians and workers to discuss treatment goals and return-to-work plans.
• Keep employer and referral sources updated on medical status and care plans.
• Coordinate ancillary services and communicate job requirements for modified employment.
• Document observations, assessments and plans for ongoing care.
• Generate reports and correspondence for referral sources and stakeholders.
• Aim for 95% quality compliance across caseload and hours.
