Job summary

Gallagher Bassett seeks an experienced nurse case manager to coordinate medical evaluation and treatment for workers' compensation cases in the Baltimore area. You will collaborate with physicians, injured workers, and employers to develop and monitor return-to-work plans.

The role requires an active RN license, 2–4 years of experience, and the ability to travel within a ~2-hour radius. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook is expected.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice or states where case management is performed.
• 2–4 years of work experience in relevant roles.
• Willingness to travel within approximately a 2 hour radius.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical evaluation and treatment.
• Meet with physician and injured worker to discuss treatment goals and return-to-work plan.
• Keep employer and referral source updated on medical treatment and work status.
• Coordinate ancillary services (home health, durable medical equipment, PT).
• Communicate with employers, medical providers, and workers about case progress.
• Document observations, assessments, and plans for each case.
• Generate reports and ongoing correspondence for stakeholders.
• Maintain minimum caseload and quality compliance.
