Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is hiring a Nurse Case Manager to provide medical management for workers' compensation cases in the Philadelphia area. The role involves telephonic and in-person case management, coordinating with physicians, employers, and providers to return employees to work.

Travel within a 2-hour radius is required. Qualified candidates will have a nursing license, 3+ years of acute care experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in nursing and an active RN license.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical evaluation and treatment for workers' compensation claims.
• Meet with physician and injured worker to discuss treatment plans and return-to-work goals.
• Maintain updates with employer and referral sources on medical treatment and work status.
• Coordinate ancillary services (home health, DME, PT) and communicate job requirements for modified work.
• Document observations, assessments, and plans; generate progress reports and correspondence.
• Manage a caseload and ensure quality compliance.
