Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Registered Nurse case manager to provide medical management for workers’ compensation injuries. The role involves telephonic and in-person contact with injured workers and medical providers, coordinating care and facilitating safe return-to-work within a Des Moines territory that may require travel up to two hours.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, at least 3 years of acute care experience, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• Active Registered Nursing license in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical evaluation and treatment for workers' compensation cases.
• Meet with physicians and injured workers to discuss treatment plans and goals for return to work.
• Maintain regular updates with employers and referral sources on medical care and work status.
• Coordinate ancillary services and communicate job requirements for modified work.
