Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking an experienced RN case manager to support workers' compensation injured employees across the Raleigh, NC area, with travel up to a 2-hour radius. You will coordinate medical evaluation and treatment, collaborate with physicians and clients, and manage case documentation and communications.

A valid RN license and 3+ years acute care experience are required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires degree from applicable program and a minimum of 3 years clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• Active Registered Nursing license or equivalent within the state of practice or states where CM is performed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating medical evaluation and treatment.
• Meeting with physician and injured worker to collaborate on treatment plan and return-to-work goals.
• Keeping employer and referral source updated regarding medical treatment and work status.
• Coordinating ancillary services and communicating with employers to determine job requirements and potential modified work.
• Discussing and evaluating treatment results with physician and injured worker using Evidence Based Guidelines.
• Documenting case management observations, assessment, and plan.
• Generating reports for referral source on case status and recommendations.
• Generating ongoing correspondence to involved parties regarding treatment plans.
