Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Field Operations Technician in Omaha, NE to install, repair, configure, and test MACD moves on various telecom equipment. The role emphasizes customer service and technical aptitude in a fast-paced field environment.

You will perform on-site installations, diagnostics, and circuit testing, while adhering to Ledcor safety standards. Travel with a company vehicle is required, and the ideal candidate has 5+ years in telecommunications with strong communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, business installation and service for electronics, appliances, security, and/or cabling.
• Positive, customer-focused attitude to handle challenging situations with integrity.
• Degree or diploma from a technical college would be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience working in the field independently and thriving in a dynamic environment.
• Clear and efficient verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highquality, customerfocused service experience to every client
• Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally using effective deescalation techniques
• Perform onsite installation and repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rackmounted networking equipment
• Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions, including running new cable, replacing hardware components, and installing data circuits for internet connectivity
• Follow Ledcor's safety standards and ensure proper use of vehicles, tools, and equipment at all times
