Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Field Operations Technician to build and service telecom networks across North America. You will perform MACD activities, installation, repair and testing on Nokia, Infinera and Ciena equipment, and support related data, voice, and optical circuits.

You will travel with a company vehicle, work in dynamic field conditions, and uphold Ledcor safety standards while delivering high-quality customer service and problem resolution for on-site connectivity

Qualifications

• 5+ years in telecommunications, installation or service.
• Positive, customer-focused attitude with integrity.
• Technical degree or diploma preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in fieldwork and independent work environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service to every client.
• Resolve issues calmly with effective de-escalation.
• Install/repair internet services, copper/fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rack equipment.
• Diagnose problems and implement solutions, including cabling and hardware swaps.
• Adhere to safety standards and proper use of vehicles, tools and equipment.
