Job summary

KLA Laboratories is seeking a Network Services Tech, CE to be based at TECHNICAL CENTER - DEARBORN, MI. You will support client networks, perform moves, adds, and changes, troubleshoot issues, and work with incident/change systems on site.

The role requires strong communication, technical capacity, and the ability to prioritize tasks. Bachelor’s degree pursuit and about two years of client/server experience are preferred; travel may be local.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Technical capacity with problem solving and judgment.
• Active pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in a technology field.
• Two years’ client/server experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Install hardware when required by client.
• Support planned and unplanned client facility power downs.
• Escalate problems or hazards in moves/adds/changes and fault rectification.
• Identify best solutions for incidents including escalation.
• Use the NIRD Incident Ticketing System and Change Control systems.
• Update change and fault records.
• Provide handovers to other CEs at shift end.
• Run patch cables between patch panels, switches, wall jacks, and end-user devices.
• Perform incidental and related duties as required.
