Job summary

BCS365 is seeking a Field Support Foreman to lead on-site telecommunications installations in Rockland, MA. You will install and maintain voice and data networks, read orders and plans, and supervise field technicians to ensure quality and safety.

The role demands a valid driver’s license, ability to lift heavy reels, and teamwork. The company provides benefits and growth opportunities within a growing IT solutions group.

Qualifications

• Reading customer orders, plans, manuals, blueprints and technical specifications to install networks.
• Must have knowledge of telecommunications and data networks and be able to read industry specs.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift cable reels and use ladders safely.

Responsibilities

• Capable of reading customer orders, plans, manuals, blue prints and technical specifications in order to install network and communication cables.
• Installation and terminating communications cables in accordance with industry standards including; category 5E, 6, 6A, RG6, paging speakers and fiber.
• Installing telecommunications equipment, switches, wireless access points and cable trays.
• Certify service by testing circuits and equipment; identifying, correcting, or escalating problems.
• Document network by labeling and routing equipment and cables according to industry standards.
• Maintain safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations.
