Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services designs, builds, and maintains telecommunications networks across North America. This on-site role delivers high-quality service to customers, troubleshoots and repairs internet, copper and fiber cabling, and ensures safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in telecommunications or cabling, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in dynamic field conditions. Travel with a company vehicle is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, business installation and service for electronics, appliances, security, and/or cabling
• A positive, can-do attitude and customer-focused approach to handle challenging situations with integrity, empathy, and sincerity
• Degree or diploma from a technical college would be preferred
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Experience working in the field independently and thriving in a dynamic environment
• Clear and efficient verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service experience to every client
• Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally using effective de-escalation techniques
• Perform on-site installation and repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rack-mounted networking equipment
• Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions, including running new cable, replacing hardware components, and installing data circuits for internet connectivity
• Follow Ledcor’s safety standards and ensure proper use of vehicles, tools, and equipment at all times
