Job summary

PROtect, LLC is seeking an experienced UT Shear Wave Technician to perform non-destructive testing and inspection services at industrial facilities. This hands-on role requires operating diverse NDT methods, documenting results, and maintaining a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification in at least one major NDT method (e.g., UT, RT, API).
• Certification in at least one minor NDT method (MT, PT, UTT).
• Valid driver's license and insurability by PROtect, LLC's carrier.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing of components and materials according to codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.
• Operate NDT equipment and methods (MT, PT, UT, UT, RT, API).
• Identify defects and discontinuities using appropriate testing techniques.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and documentation.
• Lead by example and provide direction to assigned assistants.
• Travel to various job sites and work extended hours as needed.
