Job summary

PROtect LLC seeks an NDT Technician to conduct inspections on structures, pipelines, and components using x-ray, ultrasound, and related equipment. You will perform tests, identify defects, and document results in accordance with procedures.

The role requires rigorous adherence to safety standards, the willingness to work long shifts, lift heavy objects, and travel as needed. Strong teamwork and the ability to guide junior staff are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive testing of components and materials in line with codes, standards, and procedures.
• Utilize NDT methods including gamma radiography, x-ray radiography, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, leak testing and visual inspections.
• Select, load, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment.
• Identify defects using appropriate testing techniques and document findings.
• Complete work orders and maintain thorough documentation per protocols and timeframes.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain safe driving record.
• Instruct assigned assistants and ensure crew safety.
