Job summary

PROtect LLC in Florida seeks an experienced NDT Inspector to conduct non-destructive testing of structures, pipelines, and components using x-ray, ultrasound, and related methods. You will perform inspections per codes and procedures.

Responsibilities include selecting and operating equipment, identifying defects, documenting work orders, driving company vehicles, and training assigned assistants while maintaining safety on site.

Qualifications

• Safety: follow regulations and lead others in safety.
• Ability to work demanding/flexible schedule, including long shifts and on-call.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 75–150 lbs and working in harsh conditions.
• Customer service: interact professionally with customers and be punctual.
• Teamwork: function effectively as part of a team and instruct others.
• NDT Methods: expertise in multiple NDT methods and ongoing learning.
• Mechanical: intermediate mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NDT testing per codes and procedures.
• Utilize appropriate NDT methods to perform inspections.
• Prepare and operate equipment for NDT.
• Identify defects using testing techniques.
• Complete documentation and work orders on time.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain safe driving record.
• Provide instruction to assistants and ensure team safety.
