Job summary

PROtect, LLC is seeking an NDT Technician to perform non-destructive testing of structures, pipelines, components, and materials. The role includes radiography, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing, leak testing, and visual inspection in accordance with applicable codes and procedures.

The technician will maintain inspection documentation, calibrate and operate equipment, support team safety, and provide guidance to assistants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver`s license required.
• Ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements.
• Certification in one or more NDT methods (RT/UT/MT/PT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections of components and materials per codes, standards, and procedures.
• Apply radiography, UT, MT, PT, leak testing, and visual inspection methods.
• Select, prepare, load, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment.
• Complete inspection documentation and work orders on time.
• Operate company vehicles safely and maintain driving record.
• Provide guidance to assigned assistants and promote team safety.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and perform equipment maintenance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
