Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator for an assigned non-bank territory. You will take applications, perform preliminary underwriting, and submit to processing and underwriting for approval, with field-based responsibilities 50% travel.

You must have NMLS registration, a high school degree, and 2+ years of mortgage, sales, or real estate experience. Strong communication, self-motivation, and knowledge of underwriting standards are required.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration required under S.A.F.E. Act and Regulation Z.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned non-bank territory.
• Take applications and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews.
• Submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval.
• Spend at least 50% of time away from U.S. Bank locations.
