Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in an assigned Non-Bank territory and manage end-to-end loan processes. You will take applications, conduct initial underwriting reviews, and drive file submission to processing and underwriting for approval.

Applicants should have NMLS registration, a high school diploma, and at least 2 years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience. Strong communication and a proactive sales mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration under the SAFE Act and related rules.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned territory.
• Take applications and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews.
• Submit loans to processing and underwriting for approval.
• Follow up to obtain required processing documents.
• Spend at least 50% of time away from U.S. Bank locations.
