Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in an assigned Non-Bank territory. You will take applications, perform preliminary underwriting, and coordinate processing and underwriting to secure approvals.

Incumbents are expected to spend at least 50% of their time conducting activities away from U.S. Bank locations to build relationships and drive production. The role requires NMLS registration, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real

Qualifications

• NMLS registration per S.A.F.E. Act and Regulation Z, plus ongoing compliance requirements.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Two+ years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned Non-Bank territory.
• Take applications and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews.
• Submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval.
