Cox Fleet in the United States is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics on a mobile/field fleet. You will work in a day shift, Monday through Friday, with a strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and customer communication.

The role requires DOT/FMCSA compliance, ASE certifications within 18 months, and carrying a toolbox with essential hand tools. This is an on-site position with 100% travel to client locations as needed.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED plus relevant experience; 3 years in related field or 5 years alternative.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months; DOT/FMCSA requirements apply.

Mansioni

• Perform DOT inspections and PMs on light to heavy vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engines, transmissions, and related systems.
• Document work with RO in TRAIT app and upload photos; maintain safety checks and daily inspections.
