Job summary

Insurcomm Restoration, part of Fortify Companies, seeks a Mitigation Technician to deliver emergency restoration services for fire, water, mold, sewer, and storm damage. You’ll stabilize properties, prevent further damage, and support families and businesses during stressful times.

This field-based, full-time role in Hooksett NH involves responding to calls, performing water extraction and structural drying, documenting progress with PSA and other software, and collaborating with project

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain IICRC certification.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong social awareness and customer service mindset.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to navigate Microsoft Teams and complete onsite documentation using a smartphone and industry software (Proven Jobs, Encircle, Docusketch).
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive, solution-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency mitigation calls and assess property damage caused by fire, water, mold, and weather-related events.
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and mitigation services in accordance with IICRC standards.
• Remove and dispose of damaged building materials safely and efficiently.
• Decontaminate, clean, and deodorize affected interior spaces.
• Collaborate with the Contents Division to clean, pack, and store salvageable items.
• Document job progress through photos and detailed notes using PSA and other required software.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, answering questions with empathy and respect.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
• Properly set up, operate, clean, and store tools and equipment.
• Follow warehouse and vehicle protocols, including daily documentation of consumables and equipment use.
• Work effectively and collaboratively with project managers, crew chiefs, and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team and business.
