Job summary

Dane Street is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support field operations across California. You will help prepare for evaluations, assist physicians, collect routine measurements, and manage exam materials to ensure smooth evaluation days.

This role emphasizes neutrality, professional conduct, and strong organization. Travel and field-based work require reliable transportation, a CA driver’s license, and the ability to work with multiple physicians and sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred but not required.
• Current CMA or RMA credential preferred but not required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred and may be required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to examination locations and prepare rooms, equipment, and forms.
• Maintain inventory and storage of examination equipment and supplies.
• Complete travel, mileage, expense, examination, and operational documentation on time.
• Identify and communicate operational, scheduling, equipment, safety, location, or examinee concerns to stakeholders.
• Support evaluating physicians during scheduled evaluations and greet examinees with professional instructions.
• Obtain routine measurements (height, weight, vital signs) and assist with ROM measurements and positioning.
• Serve as a professional chaperone when required.
• Maintain neutrality and accurate documentation per procedures; protect PHI.
