Job summary

Dane Street seeks a field-based Medical Assistant in California to support in-person and remote evaluations. You will prepare exam spaces, assist physicians, collect basic measurements, and help maintain smooth workflows on evaluation days.

This part-time role emphasizes neutrality, clinical support, patient care, and strict confidentiality. You will travel to assigned locations, manage equipment and documents, and coordinate with physicians, staff, and clients to ensure quality assessments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; MA program preferred.
• CMA/RMA credential preferred but not required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred and may be required.
• Valid CA driver’s license with clean record required.
• Ability to travel across California for field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Travel to examination locations and prepare rooms and materials.
• Maintain and transport examination equipment and supplies.
• Complete travel, mileage, and operational documentation accurately.
• Greet examinees and verify identity; provide logistical instructions.
• Obtain routine measurements (height, weight, vitals) and assist with ROM.
• Serve as a professional chaperone when requested.
