Job summary

Dane Street is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support examination-day and physician workflow across California. You will greet examinees, obtain vital signs, assist with measurements, and help prepare examination environments while maintaining professional neutrality and confidentiality.

This role requires travel and adaptability across sites and specialties. The position emphasizes field operations, patient care support, and compliance with medical-legal standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Medical Assistant or healthcare support experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional communication with diverse individuals.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and neutrality in medical-legal settings.

Responsibilities

• Travel to examination locations and prepare rooms, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain and inventory examination equipment and supplies.
• Document travel, mileage, expenses, and operational records on time.
• Identify and communicate concerns to stakeholders.
• Support evaluating physicians during scheduled evaluations to maintain workflow.
• Greet examinees, verify identity, and provide logistical instructions.
• Measure and document vital signs and assist with ROM measurements and positioning.
• Serve as a professional chaperone when required.
• Maintain neutrality and professional boundaries throughout evaluations.
• Document information accurately and protect PHI per policy.
• Maintain relationships with physicians, examinees, and team members.
• Adapt to different physicians, specialties, and locations; perform other duties as assigned.
