Job summary

Dane Street, LLC is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support field-based evaluations across California. You will help prepare for examinations, manage day-of-event logistics, and assist physicians with measurements and documentation in a professional setting.

You’ll greet examinees, verify information, and maintain neutrality while handling confidential medical-legal data; travel across CA may be required, with focus on day-of evaluation support and patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of Medical Assistant or comparable healthcare support experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information.
• Ability to remain neutral in potentially stressful workers’ compensation environments.
• Valid California driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to use smartphones, computers, and electronic forms for field operations.
• Ability to safely transport and manage examination supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned examination locations and prepare rooms, equipment, forms, and materials.
• Maintain, transport, inventory, and store examination equipment and supplies.
• Complete travel, mileage, expense, examination, and operational documentation on time.
• Identify and communicate operational or scheduling concerns to stakeholders.
• Support evaluating physicians during scheduled evaluations to maintain workflow.
• Greet examinees, verify identity, and provide logistical instructions.
• Obtain and document routine measurements (height, weight, vitals) and assist with ROM and positioning.
• Serve as a professional chaperone when requested.
