Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or coursework in construction, engineering, geology, or related field is a plus.
0-3 years of field-based outdoor or physically demanding work experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

Conduct field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials to verify compliance with project specifications and standards.
Properly collect, label, and transport samples from job sites to laboratories for testing and analysis.
Prepare detailed test reports, logs, and documentation for project managers and stakeholders.
Maintain testing equipment and ensure it remains in good working order.
Communicate status, site conditions, and issues with dispatch, supervisors, and managers.
