Job summary

UES seeks a hands-on Field Technician I to support engineering, environmental services, materials testing, and inspection projects. You will perform on-site inspections, testing, and sampling to ensure construction and environmental work meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or coursework in construction, engineering, geology, or a related field is a plus.
0-3 years of field-based outdoor or physically demanding work preferred; construction, materials testing, geotechnical, or related experience is a plus.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; ability to operate company vehicles safely.

Responsibilities

Conduct field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials to verify compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Collect, label, and transport samples from job sites to laboratories for testing and analysis.
Maintain testing equipment and ensure accurate documentation of results and site conditions.
