Qualifications

• This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with possible vocational training in construction, engineering, geology, or related fields.
• Experience in field-based, outdoor work and safety-conscious practices is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret procedures, manuals, and technical documents related to testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials to verify specifications.
• Collect, label, and transport samples to laboratories for testing and analysis.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain logs of test results and site conditions.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper PPE usage and safety compliance.
• Communicate updates to dispatch, field supervisors, and project managers in real time.
