Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, operations management, or equivalent project experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in capital equipment material control is preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on site experience within complex, large-scale construction environments.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction Certificate. OSHA 30 preferred.
• Experience in Advanced Manufacturing projects is ideal.
• MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
• 2+ years of experience using Materials Management software/ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Smart Materials).
• Interest in pursuing a career in Construction Management or Procurement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Saint Francisville, LA.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of material control processes, procedures, and tools.
• Utilize established policies, procedures, systems, and tools.
• Review Shipment Release Request documentation and ensure shipment authorizations align with PO terms.
• Advise stakeholders on creating shipment releases and the authorization process.
• Administer MRRs, MIRs, and OS&Ds.
• Maintain a register of materials requiring preservation activities.
• Evaluate material control issues and apply remedies.
• Maintain material control documentation in a repository.
• Identify and advise management of material control risks.
• Coordinate OS&D resolution and project/department collaboration.
